After having spent five very busy days in the centre of boiling Florence, we could not have dreamt of a more relaxing place to arrive. The apartment was not only spotless but also very comfortable and waking up in the morning to have coffee overlooking the serene lake we could see from our doorstep was breath-taking. Gilly and Dennis were the friendliest of hosts and provided us with so much information of the best places to go in the area, including Sansepolcro on market day, and the best local restaurants to explore. After discovering the local area during the day, to return to the cool villa and inviting pool could not have been a more welcome luxury.
